Inspiration Challenge #84

Greetings from the frozen tundra that is New England. We survived the blizzard. Unfortunately it didn’t mean that I got much scrapping done since there were way too many people competing for my time and/or the computer. I did manage to get one layout completed for this week’s inspiration challenge however. Here’s this week’s inspiration piece:


I was drawn to the orderly though asymmetrical grid with all the little bits of journaling. That led to this quick layout:


Done – quick and easy. That was 2011. He still hasn’t lost his two front teeth! And hot chocolate is still one of his favorite treats for crummy weather.

  1. Hey you! Love the L/O (he’s so darned cute!), but am sad that the new blog L/O isn’t working very well on my computer. 🙁 The photos and text are encropaching on one another…and I want to be able to read what you’re said. Sorry.

  2. What a wonderful find! I just love that kind of page too. Your version with those little bits of curled string/threads is a classy take – I really like the way you’ve used photos of a similar nature here as a unifying focus. Brilliant as usual (and sigh of envy here!).
