Inspiration Challenge #92: outside the box

Happy Monday! It’s Patriots Day here which means lots of re-enactments of the battles of Lexington and Concord (I’m right in-between them) but I’m spending it hopefully preventing any battles between groups of kids. 😉  I found this week’s inspiration piece on the back of a cereal box. Yes, I can’t stop finding inspiration everywhere I look, even at the breakfast table.

You’ll have to admit that that looks like a scrapbook layout, no? Here’s my take, using photos from a few years ago:

It doesn’t feel quite finished – I need to embellish a little more but I’m calling it done for now.

Have you ever found inspiration in your kitchen? I think I’m going to go looking a little more to see what I can find!

  1. Hey Paula, I was thinking about you all day yesterday, wearing a race tshirt today to show solidarity with the runners and people of Boston; my best friend crossed the finish line 6 minutes before the explosions. Sorry to not be chipper today. Point for the “polaroid” photo format, and the smiling faces. You made this L/O your own. xxoo

      1. Ditto on both. Hugs. Ordered my Boston Stands as One tshirt through adidas to help the victims; only thing to do, really, from this coast.
I held my breath during the London Marathon yesterday, though, hoping and praying that it would go without a hitch. It did, and all my running friends did great to boot. So all’s well that ends well.
