Happy Monday everyone. Today I’m using cd artwork (or whatever it’s called these days!) as my inspiration piece. We’re fans of Kate Rusby in this house and I think the this cover is so pretty:
It’s pretty simple, but I love how cd covers (or whatever) are square and lend themselves so easily to a scrapbook page. I liked the gradations of color and the stars where they meet. I also liked the title work – so delicate. Here’s my digital interpretation:
Supplies are from Designer Digitals.
I went a little nuts with brushes here – it’s so easy with Photoshop and Katie’s watery brushes!
I also attempted a paper/art-journaling inspired page. It seems unfinished but I’m letting it go for now. I used two different shades of Adirondack spray ink to create my background. Yes, that’s little me there some time in the 1970s 🙂
So, your turn! What do you think? Why don’t you play along with me? Leave a comment after you link up if you do!
