I’m a fan of accordion fold albums, especially the 4x4in size. I find that size so easy to use – I can either fill a page with a photo or print small photos on the page. I think I also have an easier time working with a square (12×12, 4×4). You can purchase pre-made accordion fold albums, like the Jillibean one I used here. Or you can make your own using a single sheet of 12×12 cardstock.
First you’ll want to cut your cardstock into three 4 inch strips:
Next you will score your strips at 4 inch intervals. This Scor-Pal tool makes that soooo easy, although I will admit to eyeing the Martha Stewart version with envy.
Do the same for all 3 strips and then alternate the direction you fold on the score lines:
Now you’re ready to put your album together – cover one end square of one strip with adhesive and attach it to another end square:
